Wander Wisely.

In 2015, the Roaming Gnome had lost his way. His schticky misadventures were stale. He’d just been acquired by Expedia. His account was in review. And his new bosses were eager to see him differentiate himself from the rest of their portfolio – particularly Hotels.com and its also-schticky “Captain Obvious.” Luckily, our pitch team landed on the insight: Booking site customers might by universally price-sensitive…but that doesn’t make them the same. Older millennials wanted enlightening, international, slightly more luxurious travel experiences – and nobody in the category was delivering. That is, until they met a more mindful, aspirational Travelocity and its smarter, more soulful Gnome. Who finally found his audience, despite his poor sense of direction.
